Located on Yukhoe Street in Jongno, Buchon Yukhoe has a 60 year-tradition, offering inexpensive Yukhoe (beef tartare) and various other menus.

Tried Yukhoe in UK and elsewhere in Seoul, this is deffinitely the best. They do a few other dishes but we specifically came here for the Yukhoe, it didn't disappoint.

How to find the restaurant........its in Gwangjang market. Come out of Jongno 5 station exit 8. Keep walking until you see the first entrance to the market with food stalls down the middle, go down here and take the second right (the first one is a tiny alley)you turn where the mung bean pancakes are. Carry on down this main "street" ignore the first tiny alley on right hand side with no stalls in it , take the second alley on the right. Buchon is the second shop on your left.
