
Hwanghu Myeongga’s wonderfully healthy samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup) is made by boiling ground grain and over 19 medicinal herbs in one big pot for about 28 hours, giving the soup its unusually deep and rich color. Whated a well reccommended place to try the famous Samgyetang dish. To find this place, come out of Gyeongbokgung Palace main front gate, turn right and take the next right ( down the side of the walls). Take the third road on the left and the restaurant is on the left just before the junction.
Kimchi selection very nice and replenished during meal. Also served is what looks like a bottle of vinegar.....its not, its a sweet/ sour nice wine to accompany your food.
